Bio

My name is Anton Karliner. I was born in Novosibirsk, Siberia, later moved to Moscow and now I’m based in Paris. I work as a photojournalist for both national and international media.

My pictures were published by Stern, Le Point magazine, Guardian, Le Figaro, Novaya Gazeta, Mediazona, Meduza, Reuters and many others. I also work as a stringer for SIPA Press Agency.

I studied sociology at Novosibirsk state university and photography at FotoDepartament (Russia), ISSP (Latvia).

I also recieved awards in photography contests (Andrei Stenin photo contest, Vilnius Photo Circle and others) and took part in exhibitions. I speak Russian, English, German and basic French.
